Boys in Leaves

Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year. Many neighbors had tailgate-like parties, so i was too busy chatting to get pics. Hannah was a gorilla (as was I a couple weeks prior, which you will see), Will was Ninja Flash, Charles was Tigger and Maura was a bee. Charlie and Maura were both is Hannah's old costumes.

Brown County

And we're back...
Six months isn't that long, right? We rented a cabin in Brown County for fall break. We had such a great time that we decided to make it an annual trip.

Maura's facial expression is too funny in this one & notice Charlie's pants...

Misc. March

Here are a few photos from this month. The family Rock Band shot (note Maura in her boppy on the couch). Pace and Hannah before a Girl Scouts Dance. The boys at the Lego castles exhibit and a few shots of the baby poolside.

Hi

Hannah took this video last night. Listen for Will's reaction after they hear Maura say "hi". I get an hourly report as to what Maura is saying from Will. He has told us that Maura speaks baby language, not human language yet.

SNOW DAY

The kids and Pace built an excellent snow fort when Hannah's snow day. You can see the fort in the beginning stages in the dark picture below; upon completion it was about 4.5 feet tall. I also took a couple pics of Maura in her snowsuit - it didn't quite fit yet.

Will's Hockey

Will "plays hockey" (which is really learn to skate while holding a stick) on Sunday afternoons. Pace has to be on the ice with him or Will would not skate.

Maura's Baptism

Maura was baptized Feb. 15th. We had a nice little party after the service at our house, but failed to get many pictures. The party basically consisted of quickly eating and then running Hannah to her game and Will to hockey practice. Below are pics of Maura with her Godfather, Mike and her Great-Grandpa.

First Outing

For Christmas, Pace received tickets to a Butler Basketball game. The entire family (including Grandma) went to the game. It got very hot, so we had to strip down Maura. After the game we were able to go play on the court.

Coming Home Christmas Eve

Maura and I were able to leave the hospital one day early so that we could be home Christmas morning. Maura was wrapped in a blanket my mom made for me when I was a baby. She did not like the car ride at first, but did fall asleep before we got home. Unbeknownst to us, our neighbors line street with luminaries each Christmas Eve. We told Maura the fanfare was all for her.
